Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! Hope you enjoy the day! Mike gave us a great Sunday post to enjoy. Of course, we get great photos of new Corvette owners taking delivery of their dream cars and then Mike put together a special collection of throwback and vintage pics to share. The annual Corvette show also happened at Criswell Chevy on Saturday so you can check out those photos as well.

~…The following is a true story. I was working at my Chevrolet office desk today (Thursday) and at 10:36am I remembered that I was on vacation this whole week! I usually do sta-cations for my third week of vacation time but I literally have been so busy that I forgot this is the week! This Saturday the 17th is the GBurg Corvette Club Show at Criswell Chevrolet so I will be here for that and the next great show is July 15th, Vette’s for Vets in Haymarket, Va. check out that show ad in picture #3. July 22nd is my estimate for my 6,000th Corvette delivery so stop by Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg, MD and join in the fun. 1 of my 10 deliveries that morning will be lucky #6,000 and some vendors have sent some nice gifts that will fill the trunk and frunk! July 26th starts my 46th year selling GM vehicles (Corvettes). After that (August 23-26) is the Corvettes at Carlisle Show in Carlisle, PA. I will have my Corvette on display at the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Racetrack tent on the Midway Infield. That Saturday, August 26th at high Noon …Adam of Adam’s Polishes is planning a BIG milestone celebration on my behalf for my 6,000th Corvette delivery. Stop by the Adam’s Polishes display booth on the Midway Infield to join in on whatever Adam has planned. You just never know what he is planning!!
The photos are now supplied to me by Fotofx, a company that has been working within the Museum for the past 10+ years and now they have pkgs available for a truly special experience to be captured digitally. I recommend their process the next time you take delivery at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY!

I love that pic of Brigitte Bardot with the C3 also. I figured she had to be some famous hot chick from back in the day, but I couldn’t figure out who she could be. She was just a little before my time. Thanks Z06oh! for enlightening me.
