~June 1st, 2023…I have 5,944 Corvettes delivered and only 56 more to go to reach the next milestone of 6,000 Corvettes delivered. July 26th will be the start of my 46th year selling GM vehicles and the pile of Corvette orders in front of me are all at 3000+ status and will be delivered between June 1st-August 15th. If you are wondering how many folders are on my desk…the answer is 95 so my guess is delivery #6,000 will be mid July to one of these Corvette customers. The Corvette plant is closed for their vacation week July 1-9…so my guess is July 22nd. I have many vendors lined up to fill the trunk of lucky delivery #6,000. Adam’s Polishes, Mobil 1 Racing, Novistretch, Chesapeake Car Wash & Detail Center in Annapolis, AEROLARRI, Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Race Track, etc etc. So stay tuned and if you are near Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg, Maryland the 4th Saturday of July…stop on by, the coffee and fun is on me…and who knows…there could be fan appreciation gifts. Come one come all.

“While I hope you receive many notes and letters from happy customers, I want to make sure to highlight the special people and conditions for success that you have clearly established within the Criswell family. I first met Mike Furman in November 2015 when I was looking to buy my first Corvette. Since then, not only has he been my ‘Go To’ salesperson, he has become a close personal friend. As thousands of other Corvette owners and potential Corvette owners know firsthand, Mike’s professionalism, passion, and commitment to Customer Service is the benchmark against which all others should be judged. His recall of details is amazing. This past week, I arrived at a decision with one of my twin boys that we needed to trade in the 2018 Camaro we purchased from Criswell new in February 2018 (thanks again to Mike’s help in getting an allocation for an amazing 2SS 1LE spec) with a new Honda Civic for him and I needed a new commuter car. I spotted a 2023 Accord Touring on your website that was exactly what I was looking for and called Mike to see if he could point me in the right direction. Within 30 minutes, I was connected with Andre Turner at Criswell Honda and we put together a deal to trade in the Camaro and buy the ’23 Accord and an inbound ’23 Civic Sport Touring Hatchback for my son. Yesterday, I arrived at Criswell Honda at 9:10 and by 10:30, I was driving back to Gainesville with the new Accord. While I know Mike’s attention to detail, and his ordering and delivery service is the gold standard, I was very impressed with Andre, Yingze Xie, and Jordy Ramirez at Criswell Honda. They were exceptionally helpful and made the entire process very enjoyable. Andre even helped with the deal strategy to make sure I could receive the maximum discount available from my military service (my Son’s college grad status was less than what the discount available from my military service was). Their customer attention, communication, and follow-up are First Class. The vehicle was prepped and perfect as I drove away. Well done! While I know you have many customers who are repeat customers, I wanted you to know that after the 5th vehicle purchased from Criswell, your family of dealers will remain my go to for future purchases (as Mike knows, I am now budgeting for a ’25 Z06 to replace the ’16 Z06 I bought back in 2016), as well for my family and friends. I hope the summer and the rest of 2023 are great for you and the Criswell team. It takes special people to create the great experience I had yesterday (and continue to have with the Chevy team) – I was very happy to see the same quality and caliber of people at Criswell Honda.”

~Just received a call from my old boss, RJ Konner. I’m sharing this Car Show info for all Corvette owners in the NJ/NY Metropolitan area. This looks like a “must attend” event! Wish I lived a bit closer. Maybe next year I can bring my Corvette for display. Please say hello to my buddy RJ, he will have his 1986 Special edition Corvette RPO code 4001ZA on display! Only 50 produced in honor of his Father, Malcolm Konner. The only time a car manufacturer produced a limited edition car after a Dealer.

~Since it’s Indy 500 week, here I am hanging with a guy that has won this event four times: in 2001, 2002, 2009, and 2021. Helio Castroneves…and he won Dancing with The Stars!

~ C8 Corvette Deliveries for the week!

~Pete J. of Naples, Florida ordered his new Red Mist 2023 Corvette Coupe from me and Pete asked to have it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at a Local Chevrolet Dealership in Estero, FL near his Naples home. Pete sold his 2017 Z06 locally so he could have garage space for his C8. Equipment list: 3LT, Body color accents, front lift, magnetic ride, Natural dipped interior, performance exhaust and more.

~Greg ”Leo” and Maghda T. of Melville, New York factory ordered a Torch Red 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe from me and today was their appt to take delivery. 9am sharp they arrived and were in and out within the hour as I went over the whole Corvette for them. A good time was had by all.

~Mike D. of West Chester, Pennsylvania was referred to me by a customer of mine . Mike picked up today a Ceramic Matrix Gray 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe. Equipment list of his very first Corvette: 3LT, stealth interior trim, transparent top, front lift, Carbon fiber trim, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, black exhaust tips, dark stealth crossed flags on front, Z51, Torch red seatbelt’s and red stitching.

~Terry H. of Glen Rock, New Jersey took the train down today so he could ride home in style, today he took delivery of his very first Corvette! His sister owned a 1973 Corvette convertible back in the 70’s but today is his turn. Check out his Rapid Blue 2023 Corvette coupe with Natural interior.

~Ken B. of Vero Beach, Florida had the red carpet rolled out for his White Pearl metallic 2023 70th anniversary Z06 Convt delivery yesterday at the Corvette museum. Vin 0450 of the 70th Z06’s!

~John S. of Arcadia, California placed his Corvette order with me and he chose to take delivery at the Corvette Museum in Kentucky. Yesterday was delivery day of his new Red Mist 2023 Corvette convt with Natural interior. Fun was had by all!

~Bill and Vi H. of Thousand Oaks, California are now proud owners of an Elkhart Lake Blue 2023 Corvette Z06 convertible with Tension/Twilight Blue interior. Today was their big day at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Bill and Vi own a Limerock Green 2014 Corvette which will now be sold to make room for this stunning ELB Z06!

Equipment list: 3LZ pkg, CF painted Nacelles/Top, front lift, Spider Satin Graphite wheels and CF painted mirrors. The red carpet was rolled out for these two by the Museum staff, especially Chris. Thanks Chris and everyone at The Museum!

~Side note story…Couple of years ago Bill joined me in my Corvette for the Corvettes at Carlisle Parade in downtown Carlisle, PA.

~Jeremy F. of Elkton, Maryland took delivery of his very first Corvette today. Check out his Rapid Blue 2023 Corvette convertible with Sky Cool gray/ Black interior! Equipment: 2LT, front lift, GT2 seats, front lift, performance exhaust, and much more! Ready for the top down drive home.

~Richard S. of Chicago, Illinois (and Naples, FL) is a longtime Corvette guy and has an incredible life within GM from back in the day. We’ve had a great Corvette relationship these past 10+ years, So I was excited for him this week as he took courtesy delivery of his Silver Flare 2023 Corvette Z06 convertible with Adrenaline Red dipped interior. Equipment:3LZ, front lift, carbon ceramic brakes, bright red calipers, and machine face forged aluminum wheels. I had his new Z06 drop shipped to a local Chevrolet dealer in McHenry, Illinois.

Short note from Richard. “The spec turned out great: I wanted the interior as bright as possible – maximum red and silver, so I avoided ordering any dark interior pieces. It really pops as you can see. Again, thanks for all your help.”
