As long as there are Corvettes, there will be folks trying to make improvements – or at least what they consider improvements.
Hence, this series of drawings just rendered on Instagram by jlord8 of the current mid-engine Stingray.
Mind you, these aren’t your usual human-created renderings, however. Jlord8 says he used Photoshop’s new AI (Artificial Intelligence) feature, telling the software to design a C8 with Ferrari Testarossa side vents, Porsche wheels, a station wagon roof design, and a roof rack.
Of course, practically speaking, these designs wouldn’t be very functional because of the location of the engine in the C8 Corvette, but they still give some fodder for good old-fashioned conversation.
I’m not a big fan of the Testarossa side vents, especially on a C8, and that gigantic tire on top of the roof rack looks kinda goofy to me. What do you think?
Still, don’t be surprised to see a big batch of such renderings in the near future, after Photoshop has incorporated an AI-powered image generator called Firefly into its software. Currently available in a beta app, the software will reportedly be rolled out to all Photoshop customers by the end of the year.

AI doesn’t seem to smart….
Both of them look like shit!
The first one pretty much sucks…the second one absolutely sucks.
WTF?
Shooting brake? WTF does that mean. Fugly to say the least.
Kinda cool. Ya not really I guess, maybe just don’t call it a Corvette.
