[STOLEN] Thieves Steal the Roof Panel Off a Parked C7 Corvette in Broad Daylight

Check out this Facebook video from Fox 13 Memphis showing a a group of three thieves stealing the removable roof panel from a Yellow C7 Corvette that was in a parking lot on Tuesday afternoon.

It all started when a Black C7 Corvette Coupe with three occupants rolled up on the parked Yellow C7 Coupe and then two got out and broke the driver’s side window to gain access to the car. One of the thieves appeared to return to the Black C7 and crawled into the back cargo area while the other guy removed the painted yellow top, nearly dropping it off the back of the car in the process.

He then handed the roof to the man in the passenger seat who held on to it while the black Corvette drove off.

We can imagine that the Memphis police are going to have quite a hard time solving this crime as the police report says it was a yellow 2023 Corvette and that they took a glass Targa roof off the car:

MEMPHIS, TN – On Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 2:30 p.m., suspects in a black Corvette broke out the window of the victim’s 2023 yellow Corvette and took the glass Targa roof. The suspects left the scene in an unknown direction.

However, additional video surveillance photos of the Black C7 Corvette also give us a good look at one of the perps involved:
