Don’t look now, but Bloomington Gold is next week! As the final pieces of the show come together, the team announced recently that Corvette Chief Engineer Josh Holder will be presenting seminars on the two newest additions to the Corvette lineup.

At 11am both Friday and Saturday, Josh will host walkaround sessions of the all new 2023 Corvette Z06. Not only will you get to see the new C8 firsthand, you’ll also get to hear about its development and more from Corvette’s Chief Engineer. We’re sure there’ll be plenty of time for questions as well. Both walkarounds will be held in the Z06-themed Gold Collection inside the Bone Student Center.

Later in the afternoon, Josh will talk about the upcoming 2024 Corvette E-Ray. With production of the world’s first all-wheel drive, hybrid Corvette right around the corner, attendees will learn about its development, why hybrid power makes sense, and more. While you’re there, be sure to ask about some of the activities leading up to its live reveal in Rockefeller Center on the Today show. Josh’s E-Ray talks take place at 1pm on Friday and 1:30pm on Saturday in the Horton Fieldhouse classrooms.

Elsewhere on the Gold School menu you’ll find a behind the scenes look at Mecum Auctions hosted by Mecum’s own John Kraman. Other free classes include a history of the Z06 model and a look at all the Z06’s inside the Gold Collection, and an interesting talk on “What’s the purpose of the Judging?” which will cover the goals, strategy and more behind having a car judged at the Granddaddy of Corvette shows. Finally, Camaro author and historian, Matt Avery, will cover the mark’s Mustang-hunting history from inception up through the current Collector Edition model.
