[VIDEO] Chill Out and Watch These Detailing Pros Use Dry Ice to Clean a '63 Split Window

Have you seen the new trend of using dry ice to clean the undercarriage of classic cars? If not, here’s an introduction on the subject with the YouTube channel I AM Detailing going to work on a White 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe.

To be honest, I had some real concerns for this ’63 Corvette as they were stripping the underside of the car, but once you see the final transformation, it’s pretty exciting. Let’s just say you would want your own four-post lift so you can show off the completed undercarriage to everyone!

Using Dry Ice on a 1963 Corvette

The dry ice cleaning segment is just one aspect of the video. This Sting Ray is getting the full spa treatment with paint correction and polishing, and the detailers also go to work on the chrome and bright finishes on the car and in the engine bay. Accompanying the work is a chill soundtrack so go grab a drink and watch these detailing pros go to work.

This work was done by Collector Car Detailing and Dry Ice Cleaning in Costa Mesa, CA.

Watch us give a classic 1960s Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe a complete makeover using dry ice cleaning, applying paint correction, finishing with interior detailing and chrome polishing. We transform this iconic American muscle car, the Chevy C2, from dull and dirty to stunning and show-ready!

We start by using dry ice cleaning to remove dirt, grime, and other contaminants from the car’s exterior. This revolutionary method uses compressed air and dry ice pellets to blast away even the toughest stains, leaving behind a perfectly clean surface.

Next, we move on to paint correction, using advanced polishing techniques to remove swirls, scratches, and other imperfections from the car’s paint. This process not only improves the car’s appearance but also protects its finish from future damage.

Inside the car, we give the interior a thorough detailing, before finally giving the car’s chrome accents a detailed polish, bringing out their natural shine and giving the car that extra bit of sparkle that sets it apart from the rest.

Whether you’re a classic car enthusiast or simply appreciate the beauty of a perfectly detailed vehicle, you won’t want to miss this relaxing video. So sit back, relax, and enjoy as we transform this classic Chevrolet Corvette Stingray into a true work of automotive art.
