[VIDEO] 2023 Corvette Z06 Hits the Dyno and Drag Strip

A new 2023 Corvette Z06 owner named Hazer recently took delivery of his car at the NCM. It’s a pretty thing with Ceramic Matrix Gray exterior and the dipped Adrenaline Red interior. After a quick cold start in the morning, Hazer says he made the “break-in” trip down to the west coast of Florida to have it dyno tested AND make a few preliminary runs on the Bradenton Motorsports drag strip.

Hazer tells his he is having a custom exhaust put on the car, so the purpose for this trip was about gathering data while the car is still stock.

First up is the track, and we watch as he makes a run of 10.95 at 128.8 mph. The next run isn’t quite as fast which again shows how new owners have a learning curve to tackle with the new variable launch control. Then he heads over to Speed Inc to put the Z06 on their dyno. On the dynojet, his Z06 recorded 604.08 max horsepower and 414.97 max torque.

He also did some real world testing on the highway, making sprints from 60 mph to 130 mph.

From Hazer via YouTube:

We are pushing the Z06’s fat @$$ to its limits! Seeing what the real world really cares about performance wise.

What an awesome car! Thanks to Castle Chevy again for helping me get mine so quick!

  1. I was shocked to see on a major car mag road test of the 2023 Z06 that 0-150 16.6 seconds, 0-170 27.7 seconds. How can that be??? 10 more seconds for another 20 mph? I could see that if it was at the top speed, but with 150 of a TS of 195, it would seem that the Z06 would still be accelerating hard….
