[VIDEO] Cacti Green 2024 Corvette E-Ray Hits the Auto Show Circuit

With the 2024 Corvette E-Ray officially revealed by General Motors a little over two weeks ago, the car has been busy keeping up with public appearances. We saw the Red E-Ray was down at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, and we’ve heard that they are also being shown at the larger traveling car shows. That’s where this auto reviewer caught up with the Cacti Green 2024 E-Ray Convertible.

This is a great opportunity to see the new Corvette once again in a new exterior color for 2024 and check out the official information on the show board. The Cacti Green E-Ray is a bit of a one-off (so far) as it shows the EFR carbon flash trim package as opposed to every other one we’ve seen that is in EFY body-color only. I guess they were looking to offer some additional contrast to the Cacti Green exterior.

A look at the show board shows the performance specs on the car with the E-Ray having “up to 655 combined horsepower.” It’s capable of sprinting 0-60 MPH in 2.5 seconds, and it has a quarter mile time of 10.5 seconds @ 130 MPH. The board also confirms Late 2023 Availability.

Jeff does a nice job of walking around the car and pointing out its various design features. In addition to the Cacti exterior, the interior is offered in the 3LZ Artemis Green, which Chevrolet had said previously was a one-year color option. It’s also wearing the Carbon Flash black wheels with the polished/machined lip around the edge, and the car is also equipped with the Carbon Flash nacelles.

Inside the car we also get to check out the beautiful carbon fiber steering wheel, as well as the Level 2 Carbon Fiber package which puts the glossed composite material around the center console and the drive mode selector, as well as on the door panels and surrounding the gauge cluster.

  1. I was hoping that the Artemis Green interior would be a beautiful dark green to create a strong contrast with the light green Cacti exterior, but alas that does not appear to be the case. In fact in this video the interior colour looks much more gray than green, and to me doesn’t complement the Cacti exterior at all. Who knows, maybe it looks much better in real life and in natural light, but still not the dark green I was hoping for.

  2. Black accents and black wheels both look ricer and ghetto…..
Surprised how much better the ERAY looks in body colored.
Now, where to find one to see in person?

  3. This color might have worked on an entry level EV or hybrid. It could have been a hit with elderly ladies. I wonder who managed to get this into the Corvette line. I predict GM will be lucky to get their investment back out of the materials they are committed to. Whoever orders a Corvette in this color combination will wish they had not when they find out the reduction in resale value. Someone could not experimented with a “loud” Lizard Green” or “Plum Crazy” color? Those could have easily exceeded expectations for popularity instead of being a lead balloon. Bring back the previous highly metallic orange and how about something else the category of Red Mist…which could disappear before my ordering time comes up. Black accents are the only thing that saves this Cacti convertible.

  4. Yes indeed, the color is awful. And of course people like the black accents, anything to make it look better ..

  5. Ugly color. If someone was to give that car to me, I wouldn’t even drive it to keep the miles low on it. I would sell it and order a new Corvette in a pretty metallic color.

  6. GM’s paint team is treating the C8 like Dinner for Schmucks but with colors. I don’t want to encourage anyone over there but it can’t possibly get any worse than Exorcist Vomit Green.

  7. I’m shocked GM’s colour dept. opted for this colour. It’s a real 1940’s bathroom green and it doesn’t come off at all. It actually makes the caffeine brown look kind of livable.
    I don’t know….
