[VIDEO] E-Ray Review Captures the Sound of Stealth Mode and See More App Data

“Not a lot of Corvettes sound like that,” says the host of Auto Focus as he watches the 2024 Corvette E-Ray pull away in Stealth Mode, the quiet electric-only mode that allows a quiet neighborhood exits.

However, just because it’s called Stealth Mode doesn’t mean the Corvette goes completely silent. There’s actually an interesting electronic humming sound coming from the front drive motor which you can easily hear outside the car.

That’s just one of the highlights from this reveal video that just recently showed up under our recommended videos list, and it ends up being among the most informative yet. That includes views of the dash as the Flying Start from Stealth Mode to V8 power happens, and we get some additional details to the Dyno chart on the E-Ray Performance App.

The host believes the E-Ray will be the best everyday driving Corvette ever made and it’s because of the electrification. “The C8 was already killing it for them. This is literally just a quicker, more responsive, more versatile version that doesn’t add too much weight, and actually doesn’t even lose out on storage.”

  1. Lots of tech in an outstanding car. GM shies. The Corvette segways into EV future. $105,000 is a lot of money. Chevrolet made an outstand choice making the wide body and carbon ceramic brakes standard on the e-ray. But as with anything else, be it cars, houses, etc, nothing from any manufacture is coming close to this car. This car is KILLER!

  2. This is a great car. However, at about $1,000 less than the Z06, the Z06 wins. E-Ray should have been $10,000 cheaper. It has standard ceramic brakes to get the front wheels spinning faster and to offset somewhat the much heavier car. This won’t satisfy those who wanted a car similar to the Grand Sport…way too expensive. That said, these Corvettes are certainly cheaper than the competition.
