We were obviously excited when Chevrolet released the 70th Anniversary package showing the addition of Carbon Flash Metallic and White Pearl Metallic exteriors. While the Carbon Flash Metallic exterior was used in 2012 on the Centennial Editions, this is the first time that a White Pearl metallic tri-coat has been featured on the Corvette.

We arrived at Corvettes at Carlisle yesterday afternoon and promptly found the Corvette Team’s CTF cars which are parked in a VIP parking lot in the back. Chevy doesn’t allow CTF cars to be used as show cars, which explains why they are packed “in the back of the show.”

It just so happened that one of the team member’s 2023 Corvette Z06 in the White Pearl 70th Anniversary package was parked next to two Z06s in Arctic White. We got these side-by-side photos to compare and contrast the two colors.

The metallic flakes in the White Pearl Tri-coat exterior makes the color even brighter than the already bright Arctic White. In fact, I had to confirm that these two other Corvettes were in fact Arctic White and not Ceramic Matrix Gray, which has a blue hue when shown in the sun.

One of the rumors for next year is that the White Pearl Metallic may be offered as a free-flow option. Would you be interested in ordering it? Let us know in the comments below!

  2. Well another award winning attempt by Chevrolet to read the public’s desires, black and white versions for the 70th Anniversary, how do they do it??? Wonder what will be for the 75th, maybe Red again??? Well folks, read this as it is written, if you can’t see it, read again!!!

  3. I love that pearl white. Had a Caddy in that color a few years ago. Unfortunately the constraints earlier this year did not allow ordering anniversary edition. So we did a tribute to the 1953 car. Arctic white, red dipped interior, HTC black roof. It turned out awesome. Picked up at NCM August 13.

  4. No I wouldn’t order the pearl white. I opted out when my 23 went into production. A lot of the pearl whites I have seen before on Cadillac and Lexus have a yellow ish tinge.
    No big deal . There will always hopefully on Corvette, just white . Happy Anniversary!!!!! I love my 2023 Stingray in Arctic White / Adrenaline red.

  5. We have never had a white vehicle of any type, nor will we in the future. Just our opinion. No other reason other than we just don’t like white vehicles.

    We’re probably in the minority as we see lots of them.

  6. I would love a pearl white if they offered a Indy Pace Car edition. You can’t just get pearl white to attempt to do the graphics yourself.

  8. Yes, I’d be all over the Pearl White if offered outside a 70th anniversary. To me it is a more richer form of white and not as bright. I have had 1 vehicle, an Acura RL, with the color and loved it.

  9. Unlike a previous responder, we have owned several Lexus’ vehicles in the pearl white and mostly torch red Corvettes. The Lexus pearl really shows best in the night and twilight, but I’ve been hoping for a Pearl on the Vette for a long time. So yes, I would order one.

  10. I have a pearl white Cadillac CT5 and a 2020 C8 in ceramic matrix gray metallic and I absolutely love both colors. If I were to order a new C8 it would be the pearl white because it shows really luxurious in the sun. My Cadillac looks like a great big pearl.

  12. As the owner of a 2021 Red Mist Metallic C-8, if my number ever comes up for my Z-06, I would definitely go for the pearl white color!

  14. I have a caddy ctsv wagon in the tri coat pearl and it’s stunning. I saw the c8 at Carlisle in the pearl tri coat and it also stunning. I have always wondered why gm never painted the corvette in that color,so I bravo to gm bringing one of the best paint jobs ever
