~If I could attend Corvette events all over the USA then I would do so. I truly missed them during the Covid 2 years and hopefully things will get back on track this season. The Corvettes are great and the people are even better.

~I had this idea when I viewed this C2 Ermine white/tan Corvette convt picture so I text Clay and Leann to send me a picture with their Arctic White/natural 2022 Corvette Convt that they had just bought from me. They were kind enough to even seek out a brick background. Interesting to see them in similar poses nearly 60 years apart. 2nd gen vs 8th gen.
~Nationwide Corvette deliveries…this 1st delivery story began with a conversation when the customer was living in Denmark.
~Lasse S. formerly of Denmark and now residing in Winter Park, Florida called me almost two years ago trying to time his move to the USA so he could acquire a new C8 Corvette. I mailed him a Corvette care pkg 7,500 miles away to his Roende, Denmark home and now the rest is history as Lasse had the red carpet rolled out for him this week at the National Corvette Museum in BG, KY. Lasse also signed up for an Electric Silverado once GM starts building those next year! Lasse came to Criswell a few weeks ago to meet me and sign for his new Rapid Blue 2022 Corvette coupe. Equipment list: 1LT pkg, Edge Orange full length dual racing stripes, Black interior, low rear spoiler and Orange seat belts. This is his tribute to the old Gulf Racing cars from decades ago. Give Lasse a big Corvette wave as he will be certainly driving his world class sports car all over the USA.
~Mike H. of Seminole, Florida factory ordered his new Elkhart Lake Blue 2022 Corvette Z51 coupe from me and last Friday he took delivery at the Corvette Museum in KY. I am sure he enjoyed the red carpet service that the Museum staff provided!
~Chuck B. of Waldorf, Iowa placed his Corvette order with me and this past Saturday he took delivery at the National Corvette Museum in BG, KY. Chuck has one of the greatest personalities so give him a big Corvette wave should you pass him on the highways. Chuck ordered a Red Mist 2022 Corvette Z51 coupe with black interior. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, body color dual roof, chrome badges, edge red calipers, Z51 pkg, torch red seat belts and red stitching.
~Michael S. of Haddonfield, New Jersey factory ordered his new Torch Red 2022 Corvette Coupe for his wife as he has his own C8 at home. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, high wing spoiler, GT2 buckets and Black interior.
~John T. of Highland Mills, New York and me go way back as I can remember he had a white 1976 Corvette coupe back in the late 70’s! Our families grew up together in the same small town in Northern New Jersey. We just completed the paperwork/payment process via Fed Ex and Plycar trucking enclose trucked it to his New York home. John is selling his prized 1967 Camaro to make room for his new Red Mist 2022 Corvette Z51 coupe with Natural dipped interior. Equipment list: 3LT, front lift, cf black wheels, Z51 pkg and more!
~Gary K. of Mooresville, North Carolina factory ordered his new Rapid Blue 2022 Corvette coupe with Sky cool gray interior. We finished up the Fed Ex process and Plycar trucking enclose trailered his Stingray to his North Carolina home. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, yellow calipers, performance exhaust, edge red engine cover and much more. Gary had our Criswell Corvette service techs add the high wing spoiler!
~Michael M. of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania placed his Stingray order with me and just completed the Fed Ex process so now Plycar trucking will enclose trailer it to his Pennsylvania home. Mike ordered a Red Mist with Natural interior 2022 Corvette convertible and had our Corvette service techs add the high wing spoiler. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, GT2 seats, CF black roof/Nacelles, magnetic ride, edge red calipers, performance exhaust, spectra gray wheels, and much more!
~Dave B. of Erie, PA called me a month back as he was on the hunt for a C7 Z06. I touched base with him as soon as this Black Rose 2017 Z06 got traded back in as we sold it brand new too! Cool color combo as it has the Dark Gray interior with the ultra rare Black Rose metallic paint! Equipment list : 2LZ pkg, Auto trans, and much more. The paperwork/payment process is now completed via Fed Ex and Plycar trucking will enclose trailer this low mileage 2017 Z06 to David’s Pennsylvania home.
~Tom G. of Chesapeake, Virginia was referred to me by his Corvette Father Adam (NCRS member #72) and yesterday was delivery day. Tom brought his wife Alexandra for the first ride back to Chesapeake, VA which is approx 3 1/2 hours away from Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg, MD. Tom ordered Hypersonic Gray metallic with Black interior for his 2022 Corvette coupe. His only other Corvette he owned was a 1986 Corvette that he purchased 2nd hand. Give a big Corvette wave to Tom and Alexandra if you see them on the Virginia highways.
~Charles C. of Catonsville, Maryland has owned a 2016 Corvette but really was looking forward to this new mid engine C8. Charles ordered a Torch Red with Natural interior 2022 Corvette Z51 Convertible with 2LT pkg, GT2 seats, front lift, bright red calipers and Torch Red seatbelts. Excited and thrilled to drive away in his new Corvette, Charles is one proud Stingray owner.

Love the 1964 coupe with snow tires mounted! Imagine anything like that today – OMG! 🙂
Would love to hear how fast the 65 396 vert with the big driving lights was going. Had to be triple digits judging from the bulging top and hood and how light the front end was getting!
Also loved the pic of Jim Garner’s L-88 racecar in Clippingers showroom in 1968.
First time ever seeing the demolished Jan Berry Corvette. I remember those days. Glad he survived!
I like the picture of the green 73 coupe.
Normally I like any of the black & white dealership pictures as it brings back fond memories. My first car was a 1962 Corvair Monza with a 4-speed transmission and the “High Performance 102” engine! My second car was an ordered from new 1967 Chevelle SS 396 and in the same color as shown in this weeks “throwback” section. What memories.
