C7 XL Front Wheel Rock Guards

When it comes to protecting your Corvette from rock chips and other road debris, there is only one product that is a must-have in our opinion. ACS Composite makes Rock Guards for the C7 and C8 Corvettes and today we are specifically looking at the XL Front Wheel Rock Guards which fit on all C7s and offers the most protection for the widebody C7 Grand Sport and Z06. Chevy’s accessory OEM Mud Flaps do protect the inner liner of the wheel wells, but as the wheels stick out from the body, your Corvette is at risk for picking up rocks and having them launched against the side of the car.

ACS Composite utilized the GM OEM Mud Flaps as a starting point for the XL Rock Guards as they extend out to offer twice as much protection to stop and redirect rocks and any other debris from hitting your car. Installation is a snap and you only need a 7mm ratchet as the ACS Composite Rock Guards use the same mounting clip locations as the factory trim piece.

C8 1VM Side Rockers

There are several benefits to equipping your C8 Corvette with side rocker skirts which include better handling, exterior paint protection, and they are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Chevrolet offers several different versions of side rockers for the C8 Corvette Stingray, however, these 1VM Side Rockers from ACS Composite were exclusively designed in-house to fill the gap between the Stingray’s rocker “spears” and the 5VM side rocker skirts with wings.

The 1VM Side Rockers was originally inspired by Corvette Racing’s C8.R “barge board” which features a straight-back and step-out design that covers the side of the car from the front wheel well to the rear wheel well. The result is a functionally purpose-built rocker extension that doesn’t draw away from the overall package. For those that want a more conservative look on their C8s without the 5VM wings, the 1VM Rockers are the way to go.

Unlike the OEM versions, these are installed using a supplied rocker bracket and aluminum black split rivets so you won’t have to drill any holes in the side of the car for mounting, and that makes the installation reversible. You can see the installation process in the video below.

C5, C6, C7, and C8 Jacking Pucks

Longtime Corvette owners know when it comes to lifting and servicing their Corvettes, a good set of Jacking Pucks is a requirement and you should never assume that your local tire shop or repair facility has them.
