Looks like the Chevrolet engineering team has headed out west again as a caravan of various 2023 Corvette Z06s were spied on Highway 101 in the San Fernando Valley on Monday.
A Corvette Forum member named johncr made the sighing and even managed to grab these photos as he was sharing the road with America’s newest supercar:
Sighted these beauties heading west through the San Fernando Valley today. All w Michigan plates. Sorry the pictures weren’t any better, I didn’t want to swerve into one of them.

We agree with johncr that the scene of these 670-hp Corvettes traveling down the road with some still wearing camo could make focusing on the road pretty tough for any Corvette enthusiast. Luckily for the Corvette team, he held his composure and governed himself accordingly as they say.
So what do we have here?
The lead is an Accelerate Yellow Convertible wearing the five-spoke carbon fiber wheels and its lower rear fascia is in camo. It’s followed by an Amplify Orange Convertible with the Spider aluminum wheels. Next up is a Hypersonic Gray Coupe also with the Spider wheels. The fourth and final car in the caravan is a fully camouflaged Coupe with Spider wheels. Each of the first three vehicles all have the Z06 high wing while the final car is wingless. Also, all these prototypes have the newer center exhaust set-up.

We’ll say right now that this driver of the Hypersonic Gray Coupe appears to be in a Southern California state-of-mind with the removable roof panel off the car and stored in the rear trunk. That’s not working!

the ‘spear’ on the side of the 2023 is definitely a detraction from the vehicle but leave it to gm to change for the sake of change!!!!!!!!!
Gotta’ say, these large rear wings / spoilers so remind me of satellite dishes. I much prefer the low wing…..
