[SPIED] 2023 Corvette Z06 Spotted Near GM's Tech Center

These photos from “Turbine Chaz” were posted to one of the C8 Corvette Facebook pages, and we caught up with them over on the Corvette Forum’s C8 Z06 Picture Thread.

The standard Z06 with the black spider wheels, level one aero package, and a transparent removable hard top was said to have been originally spied near GM’s Warren Tech Center and the original photographer also posted that it sounded terrible…like a “ricer V8.”

We know not everyone is in love with the sound of the 670-horsepower LT6, and for some, it will take time to adjust to the naturally-aspirated sound of 8,600 rpm coming out of an American sports car. But we’re not really worried about it if he ever comes around as that leaves more for the rest of us!

  1. Absolutely right about the sound. I went to Watkins Glenn and lime rock this past summer for the IMSA races. The flat V8 sounds awful gone is the roar of the Corvette engine. I can’t even describe what it sounded like. But maybe it is similar to a rice burner V8 or maybe some type of V7
