![[SPIED] Huge Caravan of 2023 Corvette Z06 Prototypes Driving US 89 in Arizona](https://www.corvetteblogger.com/images/content/2022/012622_17d.jpg)
The Corvette engineering team looks to be back in action this new year with a large group of 2023 Corvette Z06s spotted out in public on Tuesday. We got this video from a reader who spied this caravan driving Arizona between Congress and Yarnell on US 89.
Dean Hermin writes to us and says “spotted these Corvettes in AZ yesterday. (Wish I had a backward-facing camera at the time!)”
The group is an interesting mix of pre-production and prototypes led by the same silver Porsche GT2 RS that’s been used to benchmark the Z06 since the beginning. Following that 911 were nine 2023 Corvette Z06s with some painted and some still wearing camo. The mix included five Z06/Z07s, four standard Z06s, and most likely the same Accelerate Yellow Stingray Z51 Coupe that has also been spotted multiple times was bringing up the rear.

Badass!! I gotta say though, I kinda like the front end of the stingray better. But those z06’s are next level!
That must’ve been some sound!!!
Test drives or test drives with pre-series Z06 are probably done near the GM test center. Yes, I would like to be there and would like to help.
The high quality of testing helps improve the quality of the product.
