[VIDEO] The Stradman Takes Delivery of a Torch Red 2023 Corvette Z06

“It’s just another morning outside the house,” says The Stradman, a Youtuber with 3.59 million subscribers and the owner of a great car collection. As for his neighbors who are hearing each of his supercars do a cold start so early in the morning, “It’s just part of living next to me.”

The reason The Stradman is up extra early to move his cars around is that he says he is taking delivery of a 2023 Corvette Z06!

Well, not really.

As the car is being taken off the truck, he confirms that it’s a press car that he can visit with for a few hours.

And what a great-looking press ride this car is! It’s a Torch Red Coupe with the Z07 Performance Package and it’s equipped with the visible carbon fiber wheels! He flashes the keyfob and we caught the VIN sequence as “P50058EX” with the EX meaning this is a pre-production vehicle. And that means no driving it for the Stradman!

One of the Strad’s friends shows up and he gets to rev the 5.5L flat-plane crank V8 – and because he is an enthusiast and not a GM employee, he lets it rip!! Unfortunately, the Stradman and a couple others were trying to keep warm in the 19-degree Utah day with their hands held out to the center mounted exhaust for warmth when the revs started. These was probably the best sounding revs I’ve heard yet from the Z06 and it was actually pretty funny to watch them all jump.

After that fun, the Corvette Z06 is loaded back up in the transport and it heads out for its next adventure.

  1. Wow sounds like someone is jealous. The dude went from living out of his car, to building an amazing house and a car collection most can only dream about having. I don’t always agree with some of his mods, but at 32 that’s his taste and choice.

  2. I would take one of the other cars and sell it, then buy like three ZO6’s. Looks like fun.

  3. Danilo, I have to disagree with you. He’s not a “rich kid”. He’s from a middle-class family and worked for a living until his YouTube channel took off. He’s been pretty open about his life, especially in the early days when I watched him. That said, I haven’t watched him for years because in general there is now a level of sensationalism I don’t like. But to say he’s not a legitimate car enthusiast is just wrong. He was into cars when he had nothing, and he became a YouTube celebrity through force of will and taking a risk to live out his dream. I think he deserves respect for that, whether or not I find his content watchable.

  4. Danilo, so everything YouTubers do is for ratings and for revenue, well that’s how they make money (like many other professions). Not everyone that buys a Corvette has to care about the Corvette lifestyle and follow the imaginary rules. I guess his 3.59M subscribers feel different than you do.

  5. Danilo, I’m with you and Ronnie on this. This guy and all the other YouTubers you see on here just want attention. IMO watching their videos is just a total waste of time. Street Speed 717 is one of the worst.

  6. Street Speed 717 is THE ABSOLUTE WORST. 100% AGREE. Total Jersey Shore cast reject.

  7. So a Guy is going to pull out a bunch of cars on the street make a big scene because he’s getting a Corvette he can’t drive dropped off at his house for an hour?
I have zero interest in watching that and did not even click on the video. Started thinking how annoyed I’d be if some guy pulled out all those cars next to my house early morning. I’d be out there yelling at him to go be a poser somewhere else. It’s not like that Generic house in a generic neighborhood is worth showing off. Nice yard! Lol The guy lives in Colorado and doesn’t own anything he can drive in the snow? Lol Everyone of those cars is only drivable about six months of the year there. Unless you want to drive on roads full of sand, gravel and snow.
You Tubers are fine for YouTube, absolutely zero reason to write an article about this. That is idiotic.

  8. Im with Mako & Johnathon. Glad they Gave the Z06 to a young kid. Is 30’s a kid? Grow adult who is a walking brand. Here that? Its called Economics. He is a BUSINESS and a Brand. Started out as a average Joe, a car nut and made it!! Glad he loves this car like all the others he as has, and that Jeep thing. Glad GM is smart enough to market their AWESOME Exotic killing Z06 to the younger crowd who will keep their BRAND alive. Because, lets face it. GM is in business to make money and sell cars. So ALL of these Youtube INFLUENCERS are sells people, all of them. They sell themselves for likes, for What Ryan George calls “AD SPACE & he is an Adstronaught” just like the commercials.
Im older and understand that we need to stop bagging on people who are better off then us. I understand that some people are not car people and fakes. There are some I dont like but use your head and remember, whatever community your in we are being sold to. YouTubers are or CAN be SALESMAN or Women.
With that said. I am glad that Corvette and GM have marketed the C8 to younger generations who we need to welcome them in to our tribe, our drive tribe.
