[VIDEO] A Corvette Facebook Group Shows Its Appreciation for Shane at the National Corvette Museum

If you have purchased a new Corvette in the last few years and opted for the R8C Museum Delivery service, you have probably dealt with Shane Webb who runs the one-of-a-kind for the National Corvette Museum.

In addition to overseeing the PDI work when the new Corvettes arrive from the assembly plant, Shane also helps to coordinate the delivery dates with the new owners about a month before the delivery is scheduled to happen. In the crazy environment of COVID and plant shutdowns affecting Corvette sales over the last year, you can imagine what a difficult job it has been.

Members of the Facebook Group “C8 Corvette Owners (and Friends)” wanted to show their appreciation to Shane so they put together a fundraiser for some custom artwork and one of the admins named Steven Settingsgaard presented it to him last week:

Thanks to Chet, Steven, and all those who helped with the great gift for an important member of the Corvette Nation. You can join the C8 Corvette Owners (and Friends) group on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/C8.Corvette.Owners.

  1. Would love to meet Shane one day, talked to him a couple times on the phone, but definitely, a man who has helped make many dreams possible.
