On Wednesday, CORSA made it official by unveiling not one, but four different exhaust systems for the C8 Corvette. Whether your mid-engine Corvette came with the NPP Performance Exhaust or not, CORSA has a system for you.
CORSA’s four different exhaust systems are designed to provide the kind of sound you would expect from your C8 Corvette. If your Corvette came from the factory with the NPP exhaust, you have the widest range to choose from with two different variable sound systems and two Xtreme systems. Without the stock NPP, you can choose between two versions of the Xtreme cat-back systems. Both systems can be ordered with either polished or black round tips.

As far as sound and performance, CORSA lists their variable exhaust system as being +9 decibels louder (and -1 decibel quieter) while adding 18+ horsepower and 16 lb-ft of torque. The Xtreme system is 13 decibels louder than stock and brings an additional 18 horsepower and 16 lb-ft of torque.
In addition to the exhaust systems, CORSA is also showing off new headers for C8 Corvette’s LT2 V8 as well as a number of accessories. One of the smaller details that we appreciate is “blacked out” heat protection which turns those shiny silver heat mats behind the exhaust tips black to better blend in with the car.

I can’t help thinking that the C6 sounded so much better than the C8.
Corsa Industries makes some of the best exhaust systems in the business! They are located in Berea, Ohio which is practically in my backyard! I have taken a tour of the factory and I was very impressed with what I saw. And the systems look great, sound awesome, and also make pretty damn good power as well. The systems are pricey, but you get what you pay for. Corsa also has an annual Corvettes at Corsa show at the end of July which is sensational!
Corsa has always been top quality and well engineered. It is great to know that after I get a new C8 I will have multiple aftermarket options from Corsa to choose from.
