[SPIED] C8 Corvette Prototypes Are Parked For The Evening

I mentioned in the tail end of last night’s 2022 Corvette Z06 sighting that I just heard from another reader who said he has some pics of these C8 Corvette prototypes from their hotel and this morning I awoke with three new photos in my mailbox. Thanks again to Mark for sharing these with us!

Mark writes to us and said, “I’ve got some pics of those camo’d Corvettes taken this evening (9/19/2020) in Silverthorne, CO. Snapped a couple of pics before the security guards waved us off.”

As far as the location goes, this looks to be the same hotel parking lot as the first sighting from The Fast Lane Car last week. We can see what appears to be two C8 Stingrays, one with camouflage and the other a Black Z51 Coupe. We are assuming all those with the full car covers are the Z06 prototypes.

  2. About 2 weeks ago,when driving by the Milford Proving grounds, I spotted a camo wrapped C8 with red side mirrors.I thought it odd that they weren’t wrapped as well. I wounder if this is that same car ? On Saturday the 19th while at the Home Depot in Brighton I talked to a guy driving a white C8 Stingray. Turns out he was driving a captured fleet car,he being an engineer at the Milford complex. I mentioned to him that I had seen this car with the red mirrors and he acknowledged it’s existence but did not answer any questions regarding newer models in testing. Only saying he was thinking of “tagging” the C8 he was driving because he liked it so much. As a side note,I own a Torch Red coupe, 17 C7. Wish I had held off a few years longer for the C8.
