Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
The C8 Corvettes began shipping from the plant last week and Mike breaks down his first month of orders. Mike’s customers can choose to take standard delivery at his dealership, or they can do the R8C Museum Delivery, a Courtesy Delivery at another Chevrolet dealership, or having the car shipped directly to your door via enclosed trailer. It’s good to have options, right! So look for the first photos of 2020 Corvettes being delivered next week Sunday. To share the excitement with the trucks rolling out of the assembly plant, Mike offers a took at transporting Corvettes over the years. A great collection of vintage photos follows so keep scrolling to the end!

~It’s a new day, it’s a new dawn…did you turn your clocks forward 1 hour? With all the hoopla of the C8’s being shipped this week, I thought back to how the Corvettes were transported over the past generations. Seems simple enough back in the day but in today’s world news travels faster than the dual-clutch transmission that resides in the new 2020 Mid Engine Corvette! The 8th generation deliveries have officially begun as yesterday Dealers got invoiced for their initial builds. I got credit for 32 Corvette deliveries yesterday alone in which I plan on sharing my customer pics over the next week(s). The 32 added up with 7 being delivered through the Corvette Museum program, 9 drop-shipped for Courtesy delivery, 10 on-site here at Criswell and another 6 being shipped here and enclosed trailer by Plycar Trucking to various customers all over the USA. I most likely will deliver close to 600 Corvettes from March-December and that will allow me to pass the career total of 5,000 Corvettes delivered by October time frame as I am right on top of 4,500 as I type…along with 8,000 others! No, my career isn’t over yet. I never dreamed of reaching 5,000 Corvette deliveries but the 7th and now 8th Generation has certainly adjusted my goals. Enjoy the ride.
