Alright, alright, alright!
This Friday and Saturday finds us deep in the heart of Texas for the annual Corvette Invasion show happening in Bastrop. Last year was our first time attending this show and since we had such a great time at this well-organized event, we had to come back and do it all again!
This year, former Corvette Product Marketing Manager Harlan Charles is the special guest and he’ll be speaking tonight. Another special guest is Amy Hardin, Director of Development for the National Corvette Museum. Plus, we have a bunch of friends coming in as well including Rick ‘Corvette’ Conti and Mike Brink from Brink of Speed.
Tonight is the Meet and Greet event with fun, food, and a live band. Also happening tonight is the Corvette light show which is always a lot of fun.
The real action gets underway tomorrow with 375 registered Corvettes spread out on the grounds of the Bastrop Convention Center. There are tons of trophies up for grabs and I have a major responsibility that was placed on my shoulders to make sure this year’s recipient is as cool as this former 1966 Corvette Racer I picked last year.
