[VIDEO] Chevrolet to Reveal the 2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible Tonight at the Kennedy Space Center

In our opinion, there’s no better place to “launch” a new Corvette than the Kennedy Space Center on Central Florida’s East Coast.

That’s where we’ll be Wednesday evening as the next-generation 2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible drops its top for the first time in public.

The press event tonight begins at 7:30 pm ET and is expected to run 45 minutes. Unfortunately, there will be no official Livestream of the Convertible reveal and for the life of me, I have no idea why Chevrolet wouldn’t want to share the event with the world. We’ll have our cameras rolling and if all goes well, I will have our own video up later this evening or tomorrow morning at the very latest.

We expect that a press release and official press photos of the new Convertible Stingray will be shared at Chevrolet.com’s Next Generation Corvette page once the reveal is underway.

Chevrolet has already given us a preview of the new Convertible at the July reveal of the 2020 Stingray Coupe and we’re sharing it again here as we wait in anticipation of seeing it in the flesh:

  1. Shame we can’t join it and since we fly back tomorrow to the Netherlands we will not be able to join the public launch too 🙁

  2. Are we expecting any surprises? Even a look at the high wing or tennis ball yellow might be cool. We’ll know in about 30 mins.
