New Corvette drivers won’t be the only ones made happy by the GM Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Ky., this Christmas season.
Lots of less fortunate residents in the area will enjoy a happier holiday after workers at the plant made several donations on Tuesday.
“We want to make sure that during this time of year, that our people in the plant have a chance to look at all of the people that need some support and give them a chance for a great holiday season,” plant manager Kai Spande told WBKO Channel 13 News.
The plant gave $2,000 to Teen Angel and gifts to the Salvation Army and will be donating presents to 150 elderly people through the Home Instead Be a Santa to a Senior program.
