Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for May 7th

Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports and Z06s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top Corvette seller.

Last week, Mike joined the nearly two-thousand other Corvette enthusiasts at the National Corvette Museum’s Bash event to get the latest updates on the 2018 models. We didn’t get a chance to post his Delivery Update following his return, but you can see it here on the Forum. ~I run into many people from all walks of life and proudly tell them "I sell Corvettes"…and I have owned Corvettes for nearly 40 years"…it doesn’t matter what the venue is, inquiring minds always want to listen to Corvette stories or have many of their own. I could be at a Golf outing and the room filled with Doctors, politicians, business leaders etc…the conversation will get to what I do and the stories from all start flowing. I just sit back and listen and marvel at what 65 years of the production of the Corvette has done for us enthusiasts. I bring this up because #1 it happens all the time and #2…well last Friday at 1pm CST I posted a short video and some pictures on my Corvette Furman Facebook page of a Pink C7 Z06 owned by Tim and Tina Thompson of Elkton, Kentucky…8 days later it now has over 14.3 MILLION views and 71,000 shares.

Those numbers just boggle my mind at what social media can do!! For years dating back to the 80’s I heard that the internet is coming…in the 90’s the internet will change your business….in the 2005 range it certainly started to have its affect…but 14.3 million views in 8 days is just unbelievable to me. I grew up in a town of 3,000 people…I brown bag it every day I go to Criswell…just a simple person selling the Worlds Greatest Sports car…The Car is the star! Corvette my friends is alive and well. The new paint shop in BG, KY due to open 4th quarter this year is the type of investment we all are seeking so that the Corvette will be made for many years to come.

~Eddie S. of Henderson, Nevada factory ordered his new 2017 Z06 to be PDI’d at Criswell and then Plycar Trucking will pick it up and bring it to his driveway. Eddie ordered Black Black with microfiber inserts, 7spd manual trans, black wheels, 2LZ Pkg and more.

~Robert A. Of New Canaan, CT called me 6 weeks ago as he was seeking a 2017 Collectors Edition Grand Sport Cpe …and had a 40 mile 2016 Viper supercharged by Hennessy to trade. I gave him all the numbers over the phone and the rest is history. His Collectors Edition #819 is equipped with Tension Blue interior, Watkins Glen Gray paint, Comp seats, Carbon Visible Fiber roof, Auto trans, Z25 Pkg, 3LT Pkg and much more. His corvette arrived and the Deal just cleared /Plycon Trucking is due any day to bring to his driveway.

~I get some interesting Corvettes that visit me at Criswell every week…this time it was in the form of a 1988 Porsche with a 1994 Corvette engine in it!! Talk about a Hybrid!

~Just announced this week that the Indy 500 Pace Car will be the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport!
