A C5 Corvette owner must have had a “what was I thinking” moment when she tried to cross a flooded wash after a heavy rain in Phoenix. The sad images of the Corvette stuck in water with one droopy headlight while a bystander looks on are pretty pathetic while the “sad trombone” music does nothing to help the situation.
After a pickup truck scratches the rear offers a push out of the water, the driver is seen for a moment talking with bystander who still can’t believe what he saw.
So the next time you see a sign that says “DO NOT CROSS WHEN FLOODED”, instead of thinking “I can make it because I’m driving a Corvette”, perhaps take a moment and consider “Hmm, I guess so many people have gotten flooded here that they had to put up a sign.”

Frankly it wasn’t that bad of a puddle. If she had driven slower so it didn’t get the electronics wet she would have made it.

It’s nice to know that The Detroit metro area is not the only area with stupid drivers. This Phoenix driver joins the never ending list of moronic stupid people.
