[VIDEO] Corvette Hit and Run Has Oklahoma Man Fuming

All it takes is one jerk like this to give all Corvette drivers a bad name.

We’re glad that no one was seriously hurt when a red C6 Corvette being driven aggressively ran into the side of an SUV occupied by a single dad and his 6-year-old daughter, then took off around 8:45 a.m. last Tuesday in Oklahoma City.

“These guys have just absolutely no respect whatsoever for anybody’s personal belongings or even human life,” said the SUV driver – identified only as Jay for his own safety in a News 9 report.

Jay had just taken off from a green light in the left southbound lane of Pennsylvania Avenue at NW 150 Street when he saw the speeding Corvette coming up behind him, plowing into the side of Jay’s SUV, nearly totaling it and activating the airbags.

The impact pushed the SUV into the northbound lane, which luckily for him and his daughter was empty at the time.

“All I could think about was my little girl,” Jay said.

Instead of stopping to man up for his stupidity, though, the Corvette driver took off.

Fortunately, a local doctor witnessed the incident and followed the Corvette to a Quail Springs Mall parking lot, snapping photos of the two occupants of the car and getting the car’s temporary license plate number.

“I asked if they were going to come back to the accident scene. They started yelling obscenities and were threatening,” the doctor said. Oklahoma City police are investigating the crash.
