Our friends at Callaway continue to amaze us with their new C7 offerings and today we’re enjoying these pictures of a new Torch Red SC627 Callaway Corvette Stingray that is being prepped for delivery to the new customer.
The photos come from Callaway’s Chris Chessnoe who posted the Callaway in Red on the Corvette Forum yesterday morning. You’ll also see that this supercharged Stingray is hanging out with some powerful company – a 7.0L 427 ci Z/28 Camaro with Callaway’s SC652 package.
Making its first appearance on the Callaway Stingrays are the addition of the new Carbon Flash Emblems which include the Callaway scripts and the “Super Ray” fender emblems.
We’re already big fans of the new Callaway SC627 Stingrays in Arctic White and Laguna Blue, but this Torch Red Callaway Corvette is just about perfect. The black intercooler from the Eaton supercharger pokes through the hood and blends nicely with the black Stinger hood graphic. The addition of the front splitter and side rocker panels also helps to balance the car and it gives the C7 a more-powerful stance.
All Callaways come with a 3-year or 36K mile warranty and are 50-State Emissions Compliant. In California, the cars carry a California E.O. for CARB Legal performance.

The Camaro Z/28 SC652 upgrade is priced at $19,995 and Callaway is building just ten examples. Chris tells us this one is No.4 in the series and that demand for the car high with eight of the ten cars spoken for. This particular car is headed out to Motorweek TV with a Laguna Blue Callaway SC627 Stingray for filming and that episode will air on Nov. 8th.
The cost of the Callaway Corvette SC627 upgrade runs $17,995 and both cars can be ordered through your authorized Callaway dealer. We recommend that you talk with Mike Furman at Criswell Corvette in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
