The test driver charged with vehicular manslaughter after a CarMax salesman riding with him died in an accident is on the run, authorities said this week.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Today is the day we drape ourselves in Green in honor of the patron saint of Ireland. It’s also the perfect excuse for use to present a special photo gallery in honor of the various shades of Green that have adorned Corvettes over the last sixty plus years spanning seven generations.
One of the really great gifts I got for Christmas as a kid was a slot car track. I remember racing friends and family for hours!
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to play with the Anki OVERDRIVE racing system and it’s amazing how technology has advanced the concept of the simple slot car race track into smartphone-powered battle racers. If you’ve ever played any racing games on consoles or your smart phone, you get that style of game play combined with the real life racing action on the track.
Corvette Racing with nine Sebring class wins and last four Triple Crown victories
DETROIT (March 15, 2016) – Sebring and Corvette. They go together like America and apple pie. In fact, they have for 60 years now – America’s longest-running endurance race and America’s sports car. The relationship continues in 2016 as Corvette Racing returns to Sebring International Raceway for this weekend’s 64th annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida.
If you’re like most Corvette enthusiasts, you love the wide body look of the 2015-16 Z06 (and the upcoming 2017 Grand Sport).
If you already own a 2014-16 Stingray coupe or convertible and would like to convert it to the wide body look, you might want to check with the folks at ACS Composites.
Happy Midyear Monday folks! Nothing is better than kicking off the week with 1963-67 Corvettes known as the midyears. For this week’s edition, we present a random photo gallery featuring 37 Corvettes.
Several photos for this week’s gallery were submissions and we appreciate your emails. If you would like to see your Midyear Corvette featured in one of our galleries, drop me at line and submit your photo!
Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays and Z06s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top Corvette seller.
In this week’s delivery dispatch, Mike shares photos of a 2016 Laguna Blue Stingray going through the assembly line as well as Black/Black Z51 Stingray being picked up at the dealership. In both cases, those customers came to Criswell Chevrolet as their local dealers could never get the allocations for what they wanted. Mike also shows off pictures the #488 2016 Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition which is available – first come, first serve! Finally, many Corvette customers return to Mike to buy their non-Corvettes and we see several trucks, an Impala and a Red Chevy SS ready for their new owners.
