[POLL] Colors We'd Like to See on the C8 Corvette: Cyber Yellow

Even though Chevrolet has consistently offered more colors for the C8 Corvette than it ever did on America’s Sports Car during the 66 years of its existence prior to going mid-engined, close followers of the model are always clamoring for more. While we usually dream of an exotic Lamborghini green or McLaren purple, today, we don’t even have to go outside of the corporate umbrella of General Motors to find a color that we’d absolutely love to see added to the C8’s order guide.

For 2024, the acclaimed Alpha platform trio of Cadillac CT4-V, CT5-V, and not-long-for-the-world Chevrolet Camaro all added a special new ultra-metallic paint option. Cadillac calls it Cyber Yellow, and in Chevy parlance, it’s Nitro Yellow, but in person, it’s sparkly brilliance could really only be called one thing: Gold.


Since throwing in the towel on Aztec Gold after spraying it on a mere 15 Corvettes in 1998, Chevrolet has kept its distance from the rush-worthy hue. Cyber Yellow, which has already proven popular on the new Truck of the Year winning Colorado, could be the Corvette team’s shot at redemption! So, what do you think, Corvette Nation?   3. To answer your question, George, no, you sadly can’t get more than two pedals in any current Corvette.

    Good call, Craig! This color is a dead ringer for Warbonnet Yellow – it just doesn’t have as cool of a name, and I think it has more metal flake in it like AMG’s Solarbeam Yellow.

  5. The yellow like my 2017 with black wheels would be great! I would buy that! Or the Corvette Racing yellow like my 2011. The current color on the C8 has too much of a green tint. The yellow in this photo is a no go for me.

  8. I could definitely do Cyber Yellow. It got my vote. I was surprised to see it was in last place in the survey (though barely).

  9. If we are gonna go wild (Roadrunner, Challenger) from the 60’s then we have to look at the present competition (Lambo, Porche, McClaren etc;) Does it work and the emphatic answer is yes it does, the C8 is no exception. The GM Suits and bean counters need to get out of the way if we will ever see crazy colors on our beloved Vette
