DETROIT (June 11, 2021) – Nick Tandy set the fastest time for Corvette Racing ahead of the Chevrolet Sport Car Classic on Friday, just beating out Jordan Taylor in a battle of mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette C8.Rs.

Dana Mecum’s 34th annual Spring Classic Auction in Indianapolis wrapped up a couple weeks ago with record results. Total sales for the event were $107.8 million. That monster number was the product of an 83% sell-through rate in which 1,715 out of 2,057 available cars went to new homes. This was Mecum’s 2nd $100 million+ auction of the year following January’s Kissimmee auction.

Earlier today we discovered the 2022 Corvette is now listed on Chevrolet.com’s upcoming vehicles page and the microsite now features some new photoshops of the three new colors! While we would prefer to see the three new colors on real cars, these new illustrations do give us a decent representation of how Hypersonic Gray, Amplify Orange, and Caffeine might appear.
