The new 2014 Corvette Stingray was one of the star attractions at the Amelia Island Concours earlier this month. In addition to showing off the new C7, they also gathered together a collection of some very rare 1963 Sting Rays as well. The Corvette Team’s annual seminar to Corvette owners and enthusiasts at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring included a very special guest – the 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe. Team Members Tadge Juechter, Harlan Charles and Bowling Green Assembly Plant Manager Dave Tatman each spoke about the new 7th Generation Corvette and then answered questions from the crowd.
No. 4 Compuware Corvette C6.R Brings 8th 12-Hour Victory to Corvette Racing
SEBRING, Fla., (March 16, 2013) – Tommy Milner made a late pass for the lead and then held on for the final 15 minutes as the No. 4 GT Compuware Corvette C6.R won the American Le Mans Series GT class 61st Annual Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway on Saturday.
With the seventh generation Corvette arriving at dealers later this year, excitement is definitely in the air for enthusiasts of America’s Favorite Sports Car.
That enthusiasm carries over to the National Corvette Museum, which reports significant progress on plans for the Motorsports Park to be constructed there.
It was a good start Saturday for the Gainsco-Bob Stallings Racing Chevrolet Corvette Daytona Prototype team as they won the Grand-Am of the Americas Presented By Gainesco and Total at the new Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas.

We first showed you last year the violent crash of a helicopter that was racing a Corvette ZR1 as part of a stunt for Top Gear Korea, the South Korean version of the popular British show.
Well, last weekend the BBC released more footage of the stunt that featured the show’s Kim Jin Pyo trying to outrun a retired U.S. military Bell AH-1 Cobra copter.
