Corvette Racing has been one of the most dominant racing teams at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with eight class wins since 2001. Unfortunately, Jake and the boys haven’t stood on the top of the podium at Le Mans since 2015 and they are so due for win. We know the team will be giving it their all come next Saturday and we can’t wait to cheer them on.
The team left the USA for France this week and the first official events start tomorrow with two days of Scrutineering kicking off at Place de la République which is in the main square of downtown Le Mans, while Sunday will be the first open track sessions for the Corvette C8.Rs.
Corvette Racing’s Jordan Taylor has also been thinking about that last Le Mans win and for this Throwback Thursday edition, he offers up a mashup featuring Oliver Gavin behind the wheel of the Corvette C7.R while a famous scene from the original Top Gun movie plays out perfectly.
Let’s kick the tires and light the fires because there is a race to win!
