[VIDEO] More Footage of the C8 Mid-Engine Corvette Flying Around the Nurburgring

Hang on to your seats when you watch the latest video of the C8 Mid-Engine Corvette prototypes testing at the Nurburgring!

That’s the feeling I got as the latest video footage from EMS Nordschleife TV shows the new Corvette really moving fast, flying around corners, and jumping the curbs as race car drivers do.

We also hear several downshifts as the car approaches a corner, and then we hear it go through the gears as it accelerates away. It’s a very good sound in our opinion!

What’s your thoughts on the latest C8 Corvette video from the Nurburgring? We’d love to know what your think about the next-generation Corvette. 1. It sounds angry and looks so great I had to watch the video twice! It was hard not to imagine myself driving the car. The anticipation of this car continues to reach new levels.

  2. It’s still hard to tell exactly how the car will look without the camouflage. I think the C7 is the most beautiful Corvette of all so it’s going to be hard to top that. And I wish it had a manual.

  3. I’m thinking about 10-15k above the cost of current models – base, Z51, etc. They need to leave room for future GS and ZO/ZR iterations of the C8 generation. No? Could they possibly sell the C8s for much more?

Wonder if they have a new Michelin tire for the C8.

  4. If they plan on continuing sales of the C7 for a few years, you can bet the C8 will cost many $$$ more!

  5. I’m still not sure about those saddle bag air intakes, they just don’t look resolved yet. They seem to take away from the simple beauty of the car – kinda fussy while they call way too much attention to themselves. But overall, what a great move forward for the corvette.
