National Corvette Museum to Deliver 12,000th Corvette

In September 1995, the National Corvette Museum delivered their first Corvette as part of a new delivery program offered to new Corvette owners. Since that time, the option “R8C” has been available on any new Corvette order, giving customers the opportunity to enjoy a very special delivery experience at the National Corvette Museum just across the street from the Corvette plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Dec. 9th

Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Mike has been busy with multiple ZR1 deliveries and this week he puts the spotlight on the delivery of a Sebring Orange ZR1 at the dealership in Maryland. Mike is also in the news for a significant milestone in the Corvette Museum’s R8C delivery program. [ACCIDENT] Wrong Way Driver Crashes Head-On into a C6 Corvette in Florida

A wrong-way crash involving a Corvette and a Jeep sent both drivers to a hospital in Tampa, Fla., early Wednesday.

While no arrests have been made, both drivers may have been impaired, according to a spokesman with the Florida Highway Patrol.

RING RING! That’s the sound of 1983 calling…

The C4 Corvette was supposed to celebrate the Corvette’s 30th Anniversary with its introduction in 1983 but was famously delayed due to production issues and was instead launched as the 1984 Corvette. Now it appears that engineers working on the new C8 Corvettes are also encountering delays as they are up against the clock to begin production sometime next year.
