The weatherman has just one job so why isn’t he held to account for the times he gets it wrong (and our Corvettes see rain for the very first time ever!).

On Friday morning one of the largest leaks so far of C8 info occurred after a Corvette Forum member named “NBVette4U” posted about how he was able to spec out a 2020 Corvette from a Canadian Chevrolet dealership which apparently had access to the C8’s order details.

His post included a summary of the car that he had spec’d plus several screenshots of the GM order system that contained options and equipment info. At first, it appeared that GM might have nipped it in the bud as the thread was locked, but by this afternoon it became apparent that the genie was out of the bottle after the documents were published by Jalopnik.

NCM Offering Exclusive Tours of the Corvette Assembly Plant During the NCM Bash

It’s been almost two years since Corvette enthusiasts were last able to tour the Bowling Green Assembly Plant to see new Corvettes being built. The tours were shut down just before the plant underwent a three-month refurbishment that started in August 2017. So far, GM and the NCM have been vague on when tours will restart for the public but most believe that tours would resume once the C8 Corvette starts production.

Over the years, I can’t remember seeing many TV commercials for Corvettes, other than the very creative one that was banned a few years back by the social police because it might encourage small children to steal Corvettes and soar recklessly through the air in them.

Corvette Racing at Sebring: The Super Sebring Numbers are In

Corvette Racing knew they had their work cut out for them over the Super Sebring weekend when they signed on to race the No.63 C7.R in the WEC’s 1,000 Miles of Sebring in addition to its regular IMSA two-car entries in the grueling Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

The team’s PR machine always shares a series of stats prior to the races which are called “By the Numbers”. But after 20 hours of racing at Super Sebring, the team put out this tweet showing the miles they traveled over the two events:

[VIDEO] Chazcron's 360-degree All American C8 Corvette Renders

With his latest updates in place, Chazcron has rendered three C8 mid-engine Corvettes into a new 360-degree video. The Red, White and Blue C8s are shown from all sides and a variety of angles to give you the best idea as to what Chevy’s 2020 Corvette might look like.

That blue Corvette render is to die for and is my favorite of three.

Chazcron admits the taillights are not perfect but we know they will be refined with the release of new spy photos.

Here’s what he said:
