[STOLEN] Mississippi Police Recover a C7 Corvette Z06 Stolen in Texas

A stolen Torch Red C7 Corvette Z06 has been recovered – no worse for the wear – and two men have been arrested with a third still being sought as a result of a multi-state investigation this month, authorities said.

When it was all said-and-done with the auction house commission added, the out-the-door price would be an amazing $1.1 million.

One of the interesting aspects of owning a mass-produced sports car is that we sometimes don’t quite know where we fit in when it comes to the world of supercars. Some of our high performance Corvettes like the C7 ZR1 and the C8 Z06 can seriously punch above their weight, but because they are sold for hundreds of thousands less than similar competitors, it’s easy to exclude them from being a “true” supercar.
