Corvette WEC, IMSA drivers work together at Chevrolet Driver in the Loop simulator
LE MANS, France (June 2, 2023) – Corvette Racing really, REALLY wants to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year. So much so that after last year’s near-miss, there is a focused, full-team effort to put the No. 33 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette in the best position possible to win the GTE Am category this time around.
Restoring a 61-year-old car isn’t an easy task.
Witness this 1962 Corvette that’s been seeking a restoration for at least 13 years. Now it’s up for sale on eBay, where the current bid has climbed to $20,400 with the auction coming to an end on Sunday night.
The 2023 Mecum road show rolled through Indianapolis in mid-May for Dana Mecum’s 36th Annual Spring Classic auction with an estimated 3,000 vehicles seeking new ownership.
