Now he’s offering the car on Craigslist for $27,500, describing it as a numbers matching 327, paired with a four-speed Muncie and Positraction out back. In his words, it’s an “excellent driver” with no mechanical problems, ready to enjoy immediately.

Cosmetically, it’s honest but aging. The paint could use attention, the carpet is tired, and the soft top has yellowed over the decades—still functional, just showing its years. The matching hardtop, however, looks solid. The seller includes some documentation, including the original owner’s manual, and notes that the car was originally a dealer vehicle before its first retail sale in 1969.

He believes the car “could potentially be a $50,000 and up collector piece” with the right cosmetic refresh.
