These Fantastic Corvettes Will Be Offered at Mecum's Monterey Sale

In mid-August, the automotive world looks west to California and Monterey Car Week, an annual celebration of automotive excellence which features car shows, races, and exclusive gatherings like The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It’s also known for collector vehicle auctions and that includes the annual Mecum Monterey Auction held on the grounds of the Hyatt Regency on Del Monte Golf Course on August 13th-15th.

Mecum’s Monterey docket features a number of dream cars that includes modern super cars, European exotics, and classic American muscle cars. The run list is closing in on approximately 600 vehicles and other lots that includes a number of motorcycles. So far, we are counting 31 Corvettes consigned to Monterey ranging from C1 to C7 with early C1 and C2s dominating the consignments. As is the case with Mecum’s Monterey auction, they have assembled a number of rare and highly collectible Corvettes including a 1967 L88 Coupe, several 1963 Split Windows including one that is a Z06 Tanker, and a 2019 Corvette ZR1 with ZTK.
