[VIDEO] Opera Singer Turned Car Salesman Sings About Corvettes and Other Vehicles

Car salesmen catch plenty of grief — sometimes deserved, often not. After watching my own son grind through 80 hour weeks at a Georgia dealership, I learned firsthand how tough the job really is. But even among the hardest working folks on the lot, one salesman in Florida has found a way to stand out like nobody else.

He sings.

Not jingles. Not goofy rhymes.

Opera. Full throttle, chest shaking opera.

And the internet is eating it up.

Opera Singer Turned Car Salesman Sings about Corvettes and other Vehicles

Meet Andrew Hiers, a classically trained bass baritone who, like many performers, found himself without steady gigs. To pay the bills, he took a job at Boniface Hiers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Cocoa, Florida — a dealership he has no relation to, despite the shared last name.

The plan was simple: work, save, and eventually move to a bigger city with more opportunities to sing.

But fate had other ideas.

Hiers started filming short videos outside the dealership, belting out operatic verses about whatever vehicle happened to be behind him — Corvettes, Camaros, Chargers, you name it. He sings about horsepower with the same passion he’d bring to Wagner, and somehow, it works.

Opera’s drama meets dealership hustle.

It’s absurd.

It’s brilliant.

And it’s gone viral.

One video featuring a used Corvette blew up on TikTok, pulling in more than a million views. In it, Hiers sings:

“This used Corvette / It was a dream to drive / It can be yours / For the small price…”

The punchline?

The caption reveals the “small price”: $70,000.

Another clip shows him in front of a Camaro, dramatically announcing:

“Muscle car that goes fast / Act now! It will not last…”

He ends with a flourish worthy of a curtain call:

“Just be sure to ask for Andrew.”

According to The Washington Post, Hiers has sold exactly one car so far. But he’s already the most recognizable salesman on the lot — and probably in the entire state.

Whether his operatic marketing turns into long term sales success remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: far more people know his name now than when he first stepped onto that lot looking for a paycheck.

And in a business where being memorable is half the battle, Andrew Hiers may have already hit the high note.
