[VIDEO] Is This Tom Cruise Driving the New 2026 Corvette ZR1X in Beverly Hills?

A new Facebook video reportedly showing actor Tom Cruise driving a Sebring Orange 2026 Corvette ZR1 Coupe has been making the rounds among Corvette enthusiasts today.

A videographer with the social media channel named Carspex appears to have caught the actor as he came to a stop in Beverly Hills. We’re not sure if he was leaving a show as several other videos taken from the same corner are said to feature George Clooney in a Ferrari 488 Pista while Arnold Schwarzenegger was spied in a Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder.

It’s not that clear to us that any of these videos captured these actors behind the wheel, but the driver of the ZR1X does seem to have a slight resemblance to the Mission Impossible actor. The Facebook comments are brutal though as one guy says, “I’m convinced this guy just puts a random celebrity’s name.

The caption of the Facebook video says, “Tom Cruise spotted in a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X in Beverly Hills, one of the most extreme versions of America’s flagship supercar. Current estimated market value sits around $200,000–$250,000 depending on spec and early demand. The ZR1X pushes Corvette performance even further with hybrid-assisted power and hypercar-level acceleration. Seeing one in Beverly Hills shows how far the Corvette name has evolved.

While we can’t embed the Facebook video, Carspex had also uploaded it to their Instagram account which we can share below. It seems it was posted before they had identified the actor (or made one up), and the description is different than the one above as they say the market value of the ZR1X “is expected to land around $150,000–$200,000 depending on final production specs and demand.” Hey guys, Google is free or just ask Siri…

I’ve watched it now 20 times and am very skeptical that this is indeed Tom Cruise or that this is even his Corvette ZR1X. As the car pulls away, it does appear to have a Michigan Manufacturer license plate. We know that GM has loaned out cars to Hollywood celebs in the past, so perhaps this is just a tester.

Cruise is known for doing his own stunts and he that includes doing some of the stunt driving in movies like Reacher. In the early days of this blog (19 years ago!), he was photographed with future wife Katie Holmes as they went to a restaurant in his Silver Blue 1958 Corvette.

And finally, we can thank our own Mike Furman for giving Tom Cruise his big “break” into show business. The two faced off in a high school wrestling match in New Jersey and Mike “gave him the business” by separating his shoulder (or breaking his arm. I’ve reached out to mike to clarify). No longer able to compete, Tom joined the acting club and never looked back.
