If you own an old car, odds are you’ve been in the same position as TV and movie star Ashton Kutcher recently found himself. The star of That 70’s Show, Dude Where’s My Car? and other classics was recently spotted in Sherman Oaks, California driving his black C1 Corvette.

Unfortunately, he soon found himself in a pickle as the straight axle Corvette broke down while he was behind the wheel. A couple of good Samaritans were able to assist him in pushing it off the road.

After some time, it appears that the old Corvette started back up and Kutcher was able to continue on his way. No word on where he was heading or what the problem might have been.

Although the TMZ crew calls it a 1957 Corvette and gushes over the 1957 model year, we know it’s a 1959 due to its dual highlights, cove design, and more. The black paint, silver coves, and red interior are a great combo and hopefully all his troubles are now behind him.

  1. How, from these pictures, do we “know” it is a 1959 Corvette, and not a 1960? My understanding is that the only exterior changes from 1959 to 1960 were body and wheel colours, but a black body with black wheels, like this one, was available in both years.

  2. Pretty embarrassing. Who cares what year it is? Probably overheated it, he’s a douche anyway.
