When I picked up my 2025 E-Ray in November 2024, it only came with a basic overview booklet that detailed “Essential Operating and Safety Information” instead of the full 300+ page Corvette Owner’s Manual. That’s because in 2025, Chevrolet went to offering only digital downloads only. You can also find a digital copy on your MyChevrolet App as well as within the settings of your radio as we discovered earlier this week.
But many of us are old school and we like the feeling of flipping through a paper manual when you need to look up a certain function or just need a refresher on the transmission service intervals, amirite? Plus, you might be away from your phone or the car’s not starting so trying to download a manual on the fly just adds to additional aggravation that we can do without.
This morning we received an email from our friend CorvetteFurman of Criswell Chevrolet saying that you can get a free printed copy for 2025 or 2026 from Chevrolet by calling the Corvette Concierge service at 1-866-424-3892. But there are some caveats:
You must also be the original owner, and you need to have your VIN before making the call. I found out this morning by making that call, they are only giving them out to those owners who have taken delivery within the last six months.
If you fall outside those guidelines, you can still get a paper copy, but it will cost you. We did this exercise back in January of 2025 to get the owner’s manual for my E-Ray. Once you place your order, it takes about two to three weeks for it to arrive. Here is how to order them from Chevrolet’s provider, HELM Inc.
At the top of Chevrolet.com, click the menu to expand it and then click on Owner’s Manuals. Search for your model year and then you’ll see the links to download and view. At the bottom of this page is also a link to order a printed manual through HELM Inc. Select the appropriate year for your Corvette model year and you will get a page where you can Add to Cart and then checkout. The cost isn’t cheap as the manuals are $50 currently and it was nearly another $30 to ship it to me.

How dam cheap can you get…all of their cars are the same !!

As an added customer benefit, gm should look at making all of their vehicle owner’ manual a subscription service that you pay each month to open and read the online manual as long as you start your subscription when you purchase the vehicle and commit to a minimum three agreement with the understanding that this service is non-transferable to any potential future owners.
A few years ago I ordered a spare owners manual from Helm for my C7 Stingray. I know I didn’t pay nearly $30 for shipping back then. What a ripoff!
Why the 6 month limit? How much can it really cost when bought in bulk, maybe $10. Bean counters at GM at their worst.
UnF__kingBelievable! A 2026 Base Corvette Stingray 1LT Coupe currently has a MSRP of $70,000 plus the theft of $2,495 for destination Charge, so total for just the base Corvette without options is $72,495.00!
If a 2026 owners manual is $10 each to print and ship to Bowling Green, then Chevrolet has eliminated about .00014 % of the MSRP /
OR the same cost of one quart of Mobil 1 0-40W Oil at Walmart!
Bad idea from Ms. Barra to stop printed owners manuals included in GM Vehicles for a ten dollar cost savings.
Maybe she can return the manual to Corvettes and change the MSRP to $70,010.00!
What’s next, perhaps no plastic wrap on the seats and steering wheel?
Id just tell the dealer that im buying the Corvette that i want one with the car !!!!
I need some advice. I just bought a new z06 and picked up yesterday afternoon. I ordered the owners manual but i am wondering if there is a way to sometimes crank in in a quiet mode? I love the sound but sometimes I leave the house between 4 and 4:30 am. I am afraid it wake my neighbors as well as my wife! Any suggestions will be helpful! I know I could move or get a divorce but would prefer something less extreme!
