One of the changes that Chevrolet has made to the 2025 Corvette is that the 2025 owner’s manual is only available as a digital download. The digital Owner’s Manuals are offered through Chevrolet.com and can also be found on your MyChevrolet app.
Chevrolet does provide a stripped-down owner’s manual called “Essential Operating and Safety Information” which is what came with my 2025 E-Ray. We like the convenience of the digital owner’s manual, as searching for specific data can be easier with keyword searches. But we also like the idea of always having access to a printed owner’s manual sitting in the glove compartment just like the good old days and it’s there in case you need it. Chevrolet offers a service to order a printed manual, and that’s what we did.
At the top of Chevrolet.com, click the menu to expand it and then click on Owner’s Manuals. Search for your model year and then you’ll see the links to download and view. At the bottom of this page is also a link to order a printed manual through HELM Inc. Select the 2025 Corvette Owner’s Manual and you will get a page where you can Add to Cart and then checkout. The cost isn’t cheap as the manuals are $55 and it was nearly another $30 to ship it to me. Altogether, the cost was $86.30. Ouch!
FYI, the page was telling me that the Owner’s Manual was backordered, but would be shipped when available. I ordered it on December 20th and received my printed copy just three weeks later.

That is a huge slap in the face from Chevy. I paid $140k for my E-Ray and now I have to shell out another $86 to get a freaking manual?
I also got the the printed manual from Helm and the price is outrageous at $86….($30 for shipping and handling)? I live 5 miles from the Helm factory so that’s $6/mile to get it to me.
But like a lot of Corvette owners (and other cars) I want the printed manual in the glove box. (My laptop won’t fit in the glove box)
Same for my 2024 Silverado. $86 for an owners manual if you want a printed copy! Digital is fine, but I also prefer a paper copy. With the paper manual you can sit down and thumb through it and learn about the vehicle. Maybe learn something you weren’t aware of.
This is just another rip-off from Chevrolet. Given what a C8 costs, I’m entitled to a free copy, even if I have to pay the shipping. (make ’em available free for pick up at the dealer’s parts dept.) Chevy is not going to make any buyers happy by picking their pockets yet again. They are making record profits on these cars & can easily afford to cover owners manual printing costs. Shame on you Chevy. If you think I’m going to forget this, you are wrong, wrong, wrong. Oh, and your dealers are ripping us off, too. I was just quoted a $1,000 price to change the DCT fluid & filter. Give me a break! That’s simply idiotic, and you know it.
Maybe it will be like the old days when the car salesman threw in the floor mats to make you feel good.
I would prefer a printed manual. But the manuals are difficult to navigate due to the fact that they usually include information on every possible option the car might have. Leading you to jump between chapters and multiple pages just to get a simple answer. Digital manuals would just make this process harder to do. My C8 came with a separate manual just for the infotainment system. And there was another manual just outlining the performance features on the car. That one was most useful to me.
Raeley, a 140.thousand car does not come with a owner’s manual. What the hell is all this coming to.
I am a GM retiree and a 2022 C8 and 2022 Tahoe Premier owner. I am embarrassed by this. I needed to read my manuals while sitting in the cars. Setting things up takes a lot of time, and some are complicated. How in the hell can you do it online and have your laptop between you and the steering wheel ridicules. And then, to do a money grab embarrasses me even more.
What a rip off. I paid $90k for my 2024 and would have been pissed to not get a printed manual. Is the owners gift now digital too, lol.
