[VIDEO] The Top 10 Most Neglected Corvette Maintenance Items You Shouldn't Ignore

Maintenance of our Corvettes is something that should never be neglected, but sometimes it’s easy to overlook a number of items that can cause issues down the road due. I’ve been guilty of having a “if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality sometimes, and one of the items on this list is something that I did overlook on my ’66 that now needs to be addressed…power steering fluid.

Our friends at C&S Corvettes in Sarasota, Florida run a successful shop in addition to their thriving YouTube channel, and they have seen all sorts of Corvettes come in over the years with problems that might have been avoided had the owner kept up with the less obvious maintenance items. Lyle’s Top 10 list of actionable items (plus one bonus mention) offers owners a great checklist for making sure your Corvette is around for a long time, while also helping to avoid costly repairs later.

As always, when it comes to maintenance for your car, we recommend reviewing your Corvette’s Owner Manual for the recommended service intervals on the major fluids, system checks, and other components. As another friend says, you can never “over-service” your Corvette, so watch the video and then take of anything that might be keeping you awake at night.

From C&S Corvettes via YouTube:

Every Corvette owner knows maintenance is key — but some things just seem to get overlooked. In today’s video, we go over a few of the most commonly neglected areas that can make or break your Corvette ownership experience. Whether you’ve had yours for years or just picked one up, you’ll want to make sure these don’t slip through the cracks.
