This 2009 Corvette Z06 features an upgraded LS7 V8 engine that now cranks out “just shy” of 500 horsepower to the tire, according to the owner.
He says he thought “for sure” he would own this powerful C6 Corvette forever as he “absolutely” loves it. Life’s taking him in a new direction now, however, and it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.
This Z06 – which has just 11,000 miles on the odometer – is being offered on Bring a Trailer, where the current bid is $26,200, with five days remaining in the auction for that number to head northward.
“I did my best to maintain it meticulously, never abused, and always stored indoors,” the seller explains. “As you can see by the mileage, it was only driven on special occasions.”
To reach that higher output, the engine has been modified with an AHP 116 camshaft, AHP Package 4 cylinder heads with street porting, Mamo Motorsports ram-air intake, American Racing long-tube headers and Y-pipe with gutted catalytic converters, and HP Tuners ECU software.
Other equipment includes a six-speed manual transmission, red inner fender covers, MGW shifter, head-up display, rearview camera, Kenwood touchscreen infotainment linked to the stock Bose sound system, aftermarket aero elements, xenon headlights, LED taillights, dual-zone automatic climate control, Revesol steering wheel (with the original not available), and 19-inch Forgestar alloy wheels.
The car’s appearance certainly lives up to its low mileage, both inside and out, though the Carfax report indicates “minor damage” to the right front of the vehicle from an incident in January 2016. The seller says he bought the car in 2017 and the damage wasn’t on the Carfax at that time. He has since inspected the car closely and says he can find no signs of damage or repair and everything aligns, fits, and looks exactly as it should. He believes it may have been a reporting error or an “extremely minor” incident.
