The annual Corvettes at Carlisle show draws 3,000+ Corvettes each year to the rolling hills of central Pennsylvania. That also gives us 3,000 opportunities to spot some killer vanity plates.
We continually say that Corvettes owners routinely produce the best, most creative use of 7-8 characters on a license plate. During our time at Corvettes at Carlisle we found countless examples of your ingenuity. We also saw that your tags tend to fall into 1 of three categories: (1) describing the car like V8INBACK on an E-ray, (2), describing the owner like MATS VET on a C4 convertible, or (3) describing the owner’s state of mind as seen in 4CHILLN.
In such a target rich environment it’s hard to select favorites, but we particularly enjoyed BRONZ51 on a rare Zues Bronze C8 Stingray, 67 ICON on a lovely yellow 1967 convertible, and ALAMODE on a white 1966 couple in the NCRS Gallery. Z MEFLY adorned an orange C8 Z06 while UNRULY was attached to a blue C6 convertible.
So, keep up the great work Corvette Nation! Did we capture your plate or do you have a unique or witty plate on your ride? Give yourself a shout out in the Comments section below.

I see at least 1 car with the same cosmetic idea as I have. Nice!
plates really need to be more lyrical, less literal;
I got WATTA-C8 for my Corvette. And WATTA-GN for my Buick Grand National. Some other interesting ideas there…
