This 2008 Corvette Convertible features 34,000 miles on the odometer, and it’s priced at $34,000. It’s powered by the inaugural year of the LS3 V8 engine which would become one of most beloved V8s in Corvette’s history. Today, the LS3 is coveted by owners, tuners, and restorers who put these bulletproof engines in just about any vehicle you can imagine.

Another first for Corvettes in 2008 was the addition of the NPP Dual-Mode Exhaust which provided an additional 6-horsepower for 436-hp total. The NPP exhaust featured dual modes based on butterfly valves which would open and close depending on the response from the accelerator. Everyone remembers the sound when those valves opened up and hearing the mighty roar as its exited the C6’s center quad exhaust with its four 2.5-inch tail pipes. The roar was real!

Chevrolet has offered some great shades of Orange over the years, and one of our favorites from the C6 era was Atomic Orange. Offered over the course of 2007-2009, Atomic Orange came in with an extra cost due to its tintcoat formula, and this 2008 Corvette Convertible is one of just 458 produced in the color for the year. It also has a Black interior, Black convertible top, and chrome wheels to compete the look.

The seller describes the car as being in excellent condition and the “most complimented car in the city” of Eau Claire, WI., where its currently located. The car has been safely stored away in a climate controlled storage during those Wisconsin winters.

This Atomic Coupe also has a number of aftermarket additions that have helped to keep it fresh. It’s equipped with C8-style front headlights which are much brighter than the standard versions, and the side mirrors are equipped with LED turn signal indicators. On the rear are Morimoto LED taillights with Oracle lights, and the side markers have been updated with the LEDs from Oracle lights as well.

Inside, the seller added a custom designed steering wheel featuring three different leathers, a custom shift boot with orange stitching, and a matching E-Brake boot as well. New floor mats from Lloyds are included and it has a Wind Deflector with LED lights than offers multiple color choices. A cross-flags hood liner and a trunk liner were also added. An aftermarket stereo/DVD player allows you to play DVDs while driving (not that we recommend doing that though).
