Have you ever seen a Classic White ’74 Corvette with a Silver leather interior?
We here at CorvetteBlogger can’t say that we have, and this might be your only chance to park such an unusual-looking Stingray at your home. It’s being offered on Craigslist out of Bohemia, New York, with an asking price of $16,500.
With at least the front and rear bumpers already showing signs of the paint wearing thin, we might be tempted to take advantage of that silver interior (still in nice condition) and give this Corvette a new paint job in a darker color, say, Cyber Grey or Blade Silver. The contrasting silvers would look very nice, at least to our eyes.
What really makes this Corvette appealing to many of you is the numbers-matching LS4 454/270 horsepower V8 engine under that long hood, mated with a four-speed manual transmission. After being off the road for 30 years (after just 45,000 miles, if the odometer is to be believed), the engine bay looks a might rough with rusty parts scattered throughout, but the powerplant itself has apparently been “recommissioned,” in the words of the ad, and is said to be “mechanically sound” and “runs excellent.”
Other features include air conditioning, power windows, and AM/FM stereo radio.
If you like loud cars, this survivor has 1969-style side pipes with C2-style chambered mufflers, making for what the seller admits is one “very loud” Corvette.
Your neighbors are sure to welcome you home every time you drive this car. At least they’ll know it’s you coming down the road!

I’m not a fan of white paint on Corvettes but I actually think that silver interior looks pretty good against the white paint. It’s def a rare color combo.
Malaise era Corvettes are a sure sign of bad taste. My neighbor called himself Super Mex and drove one with Soop Mx plates.
