Last Thursday kicked off the two-week order cycle for the 2026 Corvette. Dealers received their estimated shipments (allocations) last week, and today the GM Order Bank opens to accept orders.

As we mentioned, it seems like the number of allocations granted to dealers was again on the small side and that has us wondering it’s due to the new interior for the 2026 model year. Will GM be ramping up production of all 2026s for the first few weeks of production as workers adject to the new interior and other new equipment? We’ll know more after the 2026s start up on Monday, August 4th.

In the meantime, we did get a constraint report for this order cycle and it’s mostly good news except for those wanting a Z06 with aero! For everyone else, it’s (almost) smooth sailing for those lucky to place their orders this week.

Yes, it’s still the carbon fiber aero components that we are seeing on constraint for the Z06. There are some limited availabilities for the Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber aero parts, but the visible carbon fiber high wing and ground effects are showing zero availability for this order cycle.

  1. You would think by now chevrolet would have their shit together when it comes to components for these cars, as a former business owner of a manufacturing company, chevrolet having year after year of issues sourcing these parts, the people doing the outsourcing of components should be terminated, after all this has been going on since 2020 enough is enough.
